Trio bailed in assault case

THREE men accused of carrying out a serious assault have been released on bail by a judge.
John Doyle, 49, Michael Doyle, 26, and Nathan Blake, 45, are charged with grievous bodily harm on Monday, March 25.
The trio also face an allegation of common assault against a second man on the same day. No charges were put to the men and they did not enter any pleas during the brief hearing at Swindon Crown Court.
Judge Euan Ambrose adjourned the case to Friday, December 20, when they are due to enter their pleas.
