A MAN is to face trial on charges of burglary and actual bodily harm, after denying the allegations at Swindon Crown Court.
Ashton Melhado, 21, is said to have stolen a 43ins TV, a DVD player and a mobile phone during a break-in at a house in Leslie Close, Freshbrook, on May 22.
On the same day, he is said to have assaulted Sam Hogan, causing actual bodily harm.
Judge Euan Ambrose adjourned the case until December 2 and released Melhado, of Amber Court, Colbourne Street, on conditional bail until then.
Luke Baker, 26, of Worsley Road, Freshbrook, pleaded guilty to the same charges and has been remanded in custody, until he is sentenced at a later date.
