Two Melksham men will not now face trial after admitting being involved in the trade in drugs.
Tobiah Rule and Ricardo Harding had both pleaded not guilty to possessing class A drugs with intent to supply.
But last week, 22-year-old Rule changed his plea to admit the charge, relating to a quantity of heroin he was found with on Sunday, May 19, and on Monday Harding pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine, so prosecutors said they would not seek a trial on the supply element.
Rule, of Little John Avenue, pleaded guilty to one charge of possessing heroin with intent to supply.
Harding, of Sangster Avenue, admitted two counts of possessing cannabis with intent to supply and one of possessing cocaine.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to Friday, November 15 for pre-sentence reports and released both men on bail.
