NORTH WILTS YOUTH LEAGUE: Ten-man Shrivenham edge thriller

TEN-MAN Shrivenham produced a determined display to pick up three points in a 4-3 blockbuster at FC Calne in Under 15 Division 1.
Nick Moore opened the scoring with a clever finish before Calne equalised through a penalty.
Moore then scored his second to put the visitors in front at the break.
Calne levelled with an individual goal two minutes after the restart and took the lead with a free kick 10 minutes later.
Shrivenham equalised through a Morgan Buckle penalty.
The away side were then reduced to 10 men but showed strong resolve to claim all three points.
Following a Buckle corner, Sam Lobb rose at the back post and directed a header into the top corner .
Under 10 Division 2
SWINDON Supermarine J took a two-goal lead in the first half against Liden, the score only kept respectable due to fine goalkeeping by Owen Hughes.
However, a spirited second half display saw Liden have the better of proceedings and man of the match Mason Francis scored a looping header from a Matty Courtney free kick.
Liden were unlucky not to force home an equaliser and were defeated 2-1.
Under 11 Division 1
BILLY Saunders and Harry Kearley scored a goal apiece to extend Swindon Rangers' unbeaten run to six games with a 2-1 victory over Swindon Robins.
Croft came from behind to trounce Hungerford 5-1.
Hungerford opened the scoring early on with a well-taken volley at the back post.
However, Kai Richardson equalised before Tyger-J Hall gave Croft the lead.
On the stroke of half-time Richardson was fouled in the box and Ewan Campbell calmly scored the penalty.
In the second period Croft continued to play good football and were rewarded with further goals from Hall and Kieran Sutton.
Highworth Town Juniors H got back to winning ways with a 4-2 win at FC Chippenham.
Despite going behind, two goals from Bradley Poole and one each from Liam Hares and Freddie Merrett earned three points for the away side.
Under 11 Division 2
IN AWFUL conditions, Stratton Juniors maintained their 100 per cent record with a 3-0 win over Highworth.
Ewan Burrows opened the scoring with a superb strike, his first goal of the season.
Soon after, Finn Blunsdon sent in an excellent cross which Jordan Heaton knocked in at the far post.
In the second half, man of the match George Herbert?went close a couple of times before Kai Surridge sealed the points with a cracking first-time shot from the edge of the area.
A hat-trick from Tom Moore and a free kick from Will Sumner could not prevent a 5-4 defeat for Wanborough at the hands of Swindon Supermarine M.
Under 12 Division 1
A STUNNING late strike from Jack Payne gave Highworth the win by the odd goal against FC Chippenham.
Highworth led 3-1 before an FC Chippenham revival saw them go ahead 4-3 with four minutes to play.
Ollie England finished an excellent team move to draw level prior to the Payne strike.
England, Dylan Boulton and a header from Edward Barnett put Highworth in front at half-time.
Under 13 Division 3 (9v9)
LIDEN opened the scoring against Swindon Supermarine G in the second half but Cameron Bolt equalised.
Brandon Page then gave Supermarine the lead but Liden levelled matters up straight away.
Further goals from Harry Truemen and Macy Taylor sealed Supermarine's win.
Under 14 Division 3
WOOTTON Bassett Whites got their first win of the season with a 5-0 victory over Lydiard Youth.
Muhammed Cham hit a double and there were further goals for Zak Thompson, Brad Sealey and Jordan Wright.
Under 15 Division 3
HIGHWORTH Town Juniors T kept up their unbeaten league record with a 2-0 win at Cirencester thanks to a brace from Ollie Mulraney.
After taking a 3-1 lead, Sevenfields United were sunk 5-3 by Brinkworth Cats.
United’s goal scorers were Owen Lewis, Jordan Hendon and Conor Seymour.
Under 16 Division 2
BLUNSDON FC went into the interval 3-1 up against Abbey Meads thanks to a double from Joe Adams and a super strike from Liam Yeates.
Abbey Meads fought back to lead 4-3 but Jack Ahrens scored to earn Blunsdon a point.
Wiltshire County Cup Under 11
LIDEN thumped Croft 12-0 to progress to the next stage of the County Cup.
They were 6-0 up at half-time following goals from Tom Ponting (4), Ashley Fowler and Dan Boswell.
The onslaught continued in the second period with Ponting completing his double hat-trick.
Fowler and Boswell got another goal each and Tobias Lango hit a double.
Wiltshire County Cup Under 13
FERNDALE Rodbourne Colts led 1-0 against Alderbury at half-time courtesy of a Ben Simons penalty.
They were playing excellent football with Bailey Gunning being heavily involved.
However, Alderbury turned the game round in the driving rain as they charged to a 6-1 win.
Ferndale Rodbourne YCFC's Callum Barrett scored five in their 6-4 win over Warminster Highbury Youth Reds.
Harry Salter added the other in a cracking cup tie.
Rangers dominated the first half against Westbury and a hat-trick by Joe Tyson and goals from wingers Toby Kutassy and Finley Merchant saw them led 5-0 at half time.
Westbury got back into the game with three goals midway through the second half.
However, Dan Hopper settled any nerves with a fine strike from the edge of the box to secure a 6-3 win.
Wiltshire County Cup Under 17/18
FC CALNE played their best game of the season so far after coming from behind three times against Amesbury.
Calne man of the match Dominic Staples-Preston scored a superb winner in the last few minutes to make it 4-3.
