ALMOST £2,000 was raised for Cancer Research UK by businesses, shops and schools in Highworth earlier this month.
On October 4, the town turned pink to raise awareness of breast cancer.
Despite the rain, there was an impressive turn out and more than 50 different businesses took part. In total, £1,872.22 was raised.
Sarah Blackmore-Heal, chair of Cancer Research UK Swindon Group, said: “Everywhere you looked you could see pink decorations.
“Thank you so much to everyone who helped make it such a super day.”
Sarah added: “Special thanks to Southfields School who raised an amazing £253, Highworth Preschool & Ladybird Centre who raised £124, Rafu’s £110 and The Saracens Head £104 - fantastic considering the current climate.”
