A sand sculpture of a dog fascinated passers-by in Warminster on Wednesday, appearing outside The Bath Arms in Market Place.
The creation was made by Raj Hurdry, who comes from Romania. Many people stopped to admire the sculpture, which took him six hours to make.
Warminster residents Chris and Irene O’Kelly said: “It’s fantastic and we’ve never seen anything like it in Warminster in the time that we’ve lived here. We were really amazed by it.”
Warminster was not the only town in Wiltshire treated to a sand sculpture in the street, with another busker producing a similar artwork in Fore Street, Trowbridge.
Lisa McKee, Wiltshire Council market officer, said: “People have really enjoyed seeing the work, especially the children who have visited the market during half-term.
“The sand dog is really creative and definitely took everybody’s attention today.”
