THIS week we are launching a cracking competition to brighten up your Christmas.

Our competition could be the answer to your festive prayers as the five winners will each receive a £100 shopping voucher to help with the cost of all those Christmas goodies.

The winners will also receive a litre box of Braydon Ales. Braydon Ales beer, which is brewed at Preston, near Lyneham, is available in 70 pubs nationwide.

Its new pale ale Thrudger (3.8 per cent), which means “someone who likes to quaff their beer”, is now being brewed weekly.

For the winter, the 4.4 per cent ruby ale Potwalloper is also available, as well as GertAle at 4.8 per cent.

Four of the ales will be available to the public in nine, 18 and 36 pint ‘bag-in-a-box’ containers.

Prices vary depending on the strength and amount of beer required. Call the brewery on (01249) 892900.

How to enter: We will be printing a different token in the paper each week for four weeks. The first token in this week's edition. All you have to do is collect all four tokens, attach them to the entry form which will be printed in the Gazette & Herald on December 12 and send the completed entry form to: Christmas Cracker Competition, Sales & Marketing, Gazette & Herald, 100 Victoria Road, Swindon, SN1 3BE.
