Appeal after burglary bid
Police are appealing for witnesses after a rear window was smashed on Quarry Road in an attempted burglary.
The incident occurred between 11am and 6.30pm on Wednesday. Although the culprit did not get into the house it has left the occupant shaken. Anybody with information can call the Priority Crime Team on 01793 507912.
