PEOPLE who want to pay tribute to their lost loved ones are invited to remember them at the Prospect Hospice’s sponsored spring walk in Buscot Park.
The charity, which provides end-of-life care to patients across north Wiltshire and into south Gloucestershire, has been granted permission to hold its annual Walk of Memories in the grounds of the historic home of Lord Faringdon.
The event has become an important feature on the hospice’s annual events calendar, taking participants on a gentle, family-friendly sponsored walk, which this year takes place on Sunday, March 9.
Prospect Hospice’s events fundraiser Genevieve Arney said: “I think very often people believe that fundraising events have to be physically demanding.
“But while it’s true that many are, this one is suitable for people of all ages.”
