Last year’s Pewsey Vale school leavers were welcomed back for the annual presentation evening.

The evening was an opportunity to congratulate the students who passed their GCSEs in the summer which included some year 11s who took exams a year early.

There were also achievement awards handed out to students from all year groups in recognition of outstanding accomplishments and contributions to the school.

And there was a special treat for the former students with guest of honour Marcus Orlovsky, who brought the children’s TV show Lazytown to the UK, presenting certificates.

The audience was packed with proud family members.

Headteacher Carol Grant said: “It is so warming to see our students all go on to successful futures following their really rewarding life at school. “We are proud of our reputation to continue to enable every single student to move on into education or training, in this next exciting chapter of their lives.”
