A donation from businessman and estate owner Brian Kingham will help to fund three new youth workers in Aldbourne.
Mr Kingham has pledged £1,000 to Aldbourne Youth Council that will contribute to the wages of the recently appointed youth workers.
The youth council bought the semi-derelict building in the centre of Aldbourne thanks to financial backing from Mr Kingham. After restoration work, Community Junction officially opened in September.
Aldbourne Youth Council trustee Hazel Keen said: “This £1,000 donation is incredibly generous on top of everything else Mr Kingham has done for us to help create Community Junction.
“We now have more than 20 adult volunteers involved with the project helping to run the charity shop.”
