Mum Kerry Jones has launched an online luxury gift boutique to celebrate her love of great craftsmanship.

Dimity Fayre offers homewares, prints, ceramics, jewellery and textiles and came about after the pair spent years discussing setting up their own business.

Mrs Jones, 38, from Pewsey, has embarked on this new business venture with a former colleague Tanya Snook, who lives in London.

Mrs Jones said “I am so excited to be finally launching Dimity Fayre, which has been my dream for so many years.

“It’s an amazing feeling to be sharing our vision and passion for UK crafts with a wider audience.

“When you’re setting up a new business it’s always hard because people don’t recognise the name, so at the moment it’s about getting the brand out there and we’ve already had some really positive feedback.”

The duo, who worked together at The White Company head office in London, have spent the last two years finding designers and setting up the website.

Now they are travelling around craft fairs in the UK, sourcing new designers and makers for the website as well as showcasing what Dimity Fayre has to offer.

Mrs Jones, a former web marketer, said: “At first we considered just selling products made in Wiltshire but we discovered so many beautiful things from all over the UK. With the Jubilee, the Olympics and the royal wedding people seem to be really pro-British at the moment and that’s a unique selling point for us.

“There seems to be a trend at the moment that people are moving away from buying cheap items and instead are buying fewer, well made products that are really gorgeous and offer value for money because they last a lot longer.”
