WESTBURY United brought their run of six matches without a win in the Toolstation League First Division to an end with a crucial victory over bottom-of-the-table Portishead Town last weekend.

Meanwhile, Warminster Town also shattered a six-match winless run as they came out on the right end of a five-goal thriller at second-from-bottom Oldland Abbotonians.

Minnis netted twice on his first start of the season for Paul Shanley’s men, with Tom Welch also on target as Bradford won 3-1 at fifth-placed Cribbs.

Jason Henley’s goal handed Corsham Town a fine 1-0 victory over promotion-chasing Barnstaple Town whilst in the Premier Division, Melksham Town made it four wins from five as beat Hallen.
