AN-ex Wiltshire College governor from Devizes planted a cherry tree at the Trowbridge campus.
Steve Stone, from Devizes, was joined by governors, principal Di Dale, and vice-principal Ben Allen.
Mr Stone, who left his position as chair of governors in 2012, after nine years, said: “I am honoured to mark my time with the college.”
He is now lead on Education, Employment and Skills at Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership.
