FESTIVE fun was the order of the day when John of Gaunt School ended the term by fundraising for fellow Trowbridge school Larkrise who suffered a suspected arson attack last month.
Pupils and staff paid to come in non-uniform while teacher Hannah Eaton delivered gifts and cards around the school for a donation of 30p.
Larkrise School, in Ashton Street, suffered £4,000 worth of damage following a shed fire. John of Gaunt headteacher Andy Packer said his staff and students were pleased to support the school which helps children with severe learning difficulties.
He said: “What Mrs Eaton is doing shows the true spirit of Christmas.”
