JOHN Jackson guided his Great Britain crew to 15th in the latest round of the FIBT World Cup bobsleigh season in Germany today.
Jackson, who lives in Paxcroft Mead in Trowbridge, looked set for another top 10 finish after a 55.27 first run in Winterberg today.
But the British number one, whose four clinched a stunning silver medal in the round at Lake Placid, USA, shortly before Christmas, ht loading problems in their second outing to slip down the field.
Jackson, 27th in the two-man event with Bruce Tasker yesterday, is now eighth overall in the standings, with another round to come at Winterberg tomorrow.
British women's number one Paula Walker, who lives with Jackson, also competes in the two-man women's event tomorrow.
