Going the extra mile to help motorists is not often recognised.

But Jo Hill, from Trowbridge Ford, has been named best service advisor in the inaugural Unsung Heroes awards compiled by Motor Trader magazine.

The award judges said: “We are confident the overall winners in each category are delivering the highest possible level of professionalism and we are delighted to shine the spotlight on Motor Trader’s first cohort of Unsung Heroes.”

Chris Yoxon, managing director of Foray Motor Group, parent company of Trowbridge Ford, said that too often people were ready to overlook the dedication beyond the levels of normal service that so many staff were willing to give.

“I’m sure Foray Group could have overwhelmed the awards process with someone from every one of our 10 dealerships but in the end we entered Jo and two staff from other Foray dealerships,” he said.

“For Jo and one of the others to beat every entry from across the country shows the exceptional staff we and our customers are lucky to have at Foray Motor Group.

“Many motorists believe you only get real service from small repair workshops but these awards prove otherwise.

“Not only do we have dedicated staff willing to address problems but we also have a fantastic parts delivery system, probably the most advanced in the UK and serving customers across the world, as well as access to all the Ford technical support that modern cars sometimes need.

“It’s an unbeatable combination.”
