TROWBRIDGE pilots John Jackson and Paula Walker both led their crews to top-ten finishes in the FIBT World Cup series in St Moritz, Switzerland, this weekend.

Walker claimed her third eighth-place finish of the women's two-man season to continue her consistency so far this season.

Walker, with Rebekah Wilson against as brakewoman, Walker clocked 2:17.38 minutes for her two runs, 0.42 seconds behind Olympic champion Kaillie Humphries, who won the event.

It was her best finish since she also finished eighth in both races at the Park City double header event in December.

Jackson also led his four-man crew - Stuart Benson, Bruce Tasker and Joel Fearon - to another top-ten finish with a combined time of 2:10. today.

Jackson was 21st with Bruce Tasker in the two-man event in St Moritz yesterday.
