More than half of independent providers have chosen to join the Wiltshire Care Partnership (WCP) since it was established in late 2012.
The partnership is a jointly funded initiative between Wiltshire Council and independent providers of residential and nursing care for older people in the county.
It is a member-led organisation that represents and supports care providers and works with the council to ensure the provision of high quality, safe services to older people in the county now and in the future.
WCP has welcomed a new chief executive, Lesley Frazer.
She joined the organisation from Clinks, a national membership body for voluntary sector service providers of criminal justice services, where she was strategic development manager.
She was also awarded the MBE in the New Year honours’ list for services to law and order and criminal justice.
