A TEAM of support workers at Somerset Care were rewarded for going above and beyond their duties during the Christmas Eve floods.
The 12 carers were given flowers and a certificate in recognition for their commitment to customers.
Martin Ross, community services manager, said: “Staff often drove miles out of their usual working areas or came in on their days off.
“I would like to thank all of our staff, including the planning team who ensured that everyone was able to receive a visit.”
Amber Matthews, of Trowbridge, has worked at Somerset Care for two years and said: “We helped each other by swapping and taking on different customers.”
