SWINDON Spitfires Under 15s were the only side from the club to see match action over the weekend as the inclement weather played havoc with the fixture list.
The under 15s slipped to a 4-0 defeat at league leaders Oxford City in the Oxford Girls League.
It was the first time Spitshave not scored in a game since March 2012.
Spitfires’ first team will now have to make the trip to Stanley Park for their Wiltshire Cup game with FC Chippenham this coming Sunday after the original tie was postponed.
