Wiltshire College sets paper hat world record

WIltshire College has set a new Guinness World Record for the most people wearing paper hats at multiple venues.

The challenge took place across 10 sites, including the college’s four main campuses in Trowbridge, Chippenham, Salisbury and Lackham with 1,664 wearing hats.

The record aimed at raising awareness of reducing environmental damage by making hats from recyclable materials.

The hats had to cover the entire head and be worn for six minutes.

well it succeeded in raising awareness of people wasting material, albeit recyclable, on 1664 hats which were used for 6 mins.
I hope they didnt throw the hats away - that would have been an awful waste.
