SWINDON Supermarine have solved their goalkeeping crisis by swooping for North Leigh's Sam Warrell.

Marine had hoped to renew the loan of Conor Thompson but his departure from Torquay scuppered that and the youngster is now looking for a new professional club.

South Marston boss Dave Webb therefore moved for Warrell, who began the season as North Leigh's number one before getting injured a matter of weeks into the campaign.

Warrell did not manage to regain the number one jersey upon his return and subsequently looked for a new opportunity elsewhere.

The keeper will go straight into the Marine squad for tomorrow's visit to Shortwood in Southern League Division One South & West.
