STEPHEN Lee’s appeal against his 12-year ban from snooker restarts today.
The 39-year-old from Trowbridge was given the suspension last September after being found guilty of seven charges of match-fixing dating back to 2008 and 2009.
The hearing, being held at an unspecified location in London, began on January 31 and has been adjorned since then.
Lee, of Birch Gardens, Hilperton, maintains he’s innocent.
He was investigated after being the subject of irregular betting from groups connected to former sponsor Paul Jones, a financial advisor, ex-manager Neil Clague and friend Ian McDougall of Staverton.
After they won £97,000, a payment of £40,000 was transferred into the account of Lee’s wife.
