WILTSHIRE Police is appealing for witnesses after money was stolen from a wallet in Swindon.

The incident took place at the Meadow Stores, New Road, Swindon, between 12.10pm and 12.30pm on January 17.

A male victim misplaced his wallet in the shop and went home. When he returned to the shop he was told the wallet had been handed in but he discovered the £100 in cash which had been inside was missing.

Wiltshire Police would like to speak to a male youth who handed the wallet in to a member of staff inside the shop.

He is described as white, in his late teens and was wearing a hooded top with the hood up.

CCTV stills are attached of a man police would like to speak to in connection with this incident.
