A man accused of having five wraps of heroin wedged between his buttocks has been released on bail by a judge.
Daniel Perkins, 31, is said to have had the drugs when he was arrested at an address in Queens Crescent, Chippenham, on Wednesday, April 18, 2012.
It is said the wraps, weighing just under three quarters of a gram, were hidden between his buttocks.
And it is also alleged that a number of text message on his mobile phone related to the trade in drugs.
Perkins, of Erith, east London, is accused of possessing class-A drugs with intent to supply.
No charge was formally put to Perkins and he did not enter any pleas during the brief hearing at Swindon Crown Court on Friday and he did not enter any pleas.
Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to Friday, May 2, and released Perkins on conditional bail until then.
He told him he must report to Bexley Heath police station on Saturday afternoons and live at his home address.
