Biker hurt in early morning crash with vehicle

COMMUTERS faced delays in Haydon Wick yesterday morning following a collision involving a motorbike and a car.

The incident happened in Bryony Way, near Westfield Way at 7.43am. Police and paramedics attended the scene, which involved a Toyota Aygo and an Aprilia motorbike.

It is believed that the male motorcyclist suffered minor pelvic injuries.

A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: “The man was treated by paramedics at the scene but his injuries were minor and he was taken home by paramedics following the crash. The road was closed in one direction from 7.45am to 8.25am, once the scene had been cleared.”
