Charity Emerton's Foundation is to benefit from a holistic event that will take place at the Neeld Hall, Chippenham, on Sunday, March 2.

Local practitioners will be on hand throughout the day to talk to visitors about their therapies and advise how they may help. Many will also be offering taster sessions for a low fee or donation.

All raffle prizes have been donated and all proceeds from the event will go to the charity.

Emerton's Foundation was set up by Lisa Chisholm and Stephen Joyce following the death of their young son Emerton from leukaemia, to provide support to other families with a child with leukaemia or autism.

Chippenham woman Lyn Stones, who has organised the event, said: ''It’s all about giving something back to the community, and we’re delighted to be able to support one of the lesser known local charities.

"Entry is free, so come along on March 2 and support this worthwhile cause. You can just pop in for a cup of tea and a piece of cake and know you are helping."
