Football fans will be in for a treat next month, when former England International and Southampton legend Mat Le Tissier appears at the Prestbury Sports Bar in Warminster.
The Guernsey-born footballer and current Sky Sports television presenter is making a special appearance at the venue on Sunday, March 2 from 6pm.
His career saw him make it into the record books as the first midfielder to score 100 goals in the Premier League and he was branded “Le God” by Southampton fans.
Co-owner of Prestbury Sports Bar Pete Bartley said: “It has created such excitement. We've had footballers here before, but these tickets have sold faster than those of any other footballer.
“Half the tickets were sold prior to advertising, so Matt seems to be a popular choice.”
The event is open to anyone who purchases a ticket and includes a talk, autographs and photographs, plus a question and answer session, hosted by Matt Le Tissier.
Contact Pete Bartley on 07941 201714 for tickets or purchase directly from the bar. For more information, visit www.prestburysportsbar.com
