Young dancers Jessica Lamb and Sophie Little leaped to third place in the Wiltshire Festival of Dance.
The 12-year-old St John’s School pupils competed in the cabaret duet section at The Commonweal School in Swindon last week.
Dancing to Hot Honey Rag from the musical Chicago, the girls earned a podium finish. Both girls have a passion for dancing and attend Marlborough Academy of Dance and Drama.
Dance teacher and choreographer Cheryl Heuston said: “The girls put in a wonderful performance. It’s a massive achievement because we are a relatively new school and this was a really professional competition.
“I am so proud of the girls, this was their first experience of competition and all those extra rehearsals paid off.”
