ANOTHER car ploughed into a house in Curtis Street in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The black Vauxhall crashed into the wall outside the property and although nobody was injured, it did cause structural damage to the exterior wall.

Police attended the scene at around 5am and a man was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.

Insp Lindsey Winter, of Wiltshire Police, said: "Just after 5am this morning a vehicle collided with a house in Curtis Street.

"It was a one vehicle accident and nobody was injured.

"We have arrested the driver of the vehicle and he has been remanded in custody."

It is the second time in only three months that a car has smashed into a property near the road's junction with Crombey Street.

Last November, householder Graham Swatton had a lucky escape after a red Land Rover smashed into the front of his neighbour's house.
