A man due to face trial by jury accused of being involved in the drugs trade has changed his plea to admit what he had done.

Jack Isaacs had pleaded not guilty to a charge of possessing heroin with intent to supply when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court last summer.

The case was listed for a trial last week but a few days before it was due to take place he told his lawyers he wanted to change his pleas.

And the 29-year-old, of The Manor, Frome Road, Trowbridge, pleaded guilty to the charge.

His partner Zoe Bell, 24, of the same address, admitted the charge when she appeared before the court in August.

They admitted having the class A drug with intent to supply on Wednesday September 26, 2012.

Judge Douglas Field released the pair on bail so the probation service can compile pre-sentence reports and adjourned the case to Thursday, March 27.
