A ‘freewheeling' afternoon’ of cycling could be coming to Corsham next month, as part of BBC Sport Relief.
The Katherine Park Residents’ Association has applied to Wiltshire Council to close Freestone Way to traffic for three hours on Sunday, March 23, to allow cyclists and scooters to take over the road.
The road would be closed from the top of the estate through to the bottom end, although all side roads would still be accessible.
Corsham Town Council has given its backing to the proposal.
