Author to give talk in aid of animal sanctuary

Damien Lewis, well-known war journalist and acclaimed author of War Dog, will be doing a dog talk and book signing at the Bath Cats & Dogs Home on March 27.

He will tell the true story of the no-man’s puppy called Ant who took to the skies and saved countless lives during the Second World War. Ant was later awarded the Dickin Medal for Bravery.

The talk will take place at the home on March 27 at 6.30pm. Tickets can be purchased by calling (01225) 750 192 or emailing Tickets cost £10 per person with all proceeds going to the home.
