Children and staff at St George’s Pre-School in Warminster are celebrating after an Ofsted inspection rated the school as outstanding following a visit last month.
The pre-school, which is based at St George’s Primary School, was found to be outstanding in all areas, including the quality and standards of the early years provision.
The inspectors’ report said staff use ‘exceptionally thorough observations to plan challenging, exciting activities’, while the excellent partnership with parents ‘supports children’s emotional well-being extremely well’.
The report also found that children make excellent progress in their personal, social and emotional development. The school’s last Ofsted inspection also rated it as outstanding.
Owner of the pre-school Stephanie Sturdee said: “We are over the moon with the report and it is one of the best I have ever read, so we couldn’t have asked for anything more.
“My staff are amazing and I think this is a reflection on how just how good they are. ”
