CORSHAM Town stretched their unbeaten run in the Toolstation League First Division to seven matches last weekend as they saw off promotion-chasers Cribbs.

Nick Holton grabbed a brace whilst Jackson Hamilton fired home his first Corsham goal as Trevor Rawlings’ men ran out 3-1 winners at the Southbank.

Elsewhere, a third goal in as many games from Craig Gingell helped Bradford Town stretch their lead to the top of the table to 12 points.

Defender Gingell made the decisive breakthrough as Paul Shanley’s men won 1-0 at Keynsham Town.

Matt Dyer and Marc Lanfear got the goals as Matt Bown’s Westbury United beat county rivals Devizes Town 2-1 at Meadow Lane but Warminster Town were left kicking their heels last weekend after trip to Cheddar was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

In the Premier Division, young substitute Harry Waylen marked his Melksham Town debut with a last-gasp equaliser to save his side’s blushes against bottom-of-the-table Bishop Sutton.

Darren Perrin’s men trailed 2-1, with Dan Kovacs grabbing the hosts’ first goal, before 17-year-old Waylen netted at the death to salvage a 2-2 draw.
