Nearly 30 Chippenham Harriers tackle Bath Half Marathon

Nearly 30 Chippenham Harriers members took part in Bath Half Marathon.

The first male Harrier home was Trevor Batey in 1:20:54 and the first Harriers female to cross the finish line was Cordula Hurcum in 1:27:40.

Club chairman Mike Bright said: “We had an excellent turnout at races this weekend with several of our members achieving personal bests.

"We also had a number of members running their first half marathon, many of whom were only a year or so ago doing run/walk intervals as part of our highly successful beginners programme.

“I am very proud of all our runners and the excellent support and encouragement they receive from their fellow Harriers.”
