This Is Wiltshire: Conquer the Sport Relief Marlborough Mile Conquer the Sport Relief Marlborough Mile

RUNNERS are doing their bit for Sport Relief in the Marlborough Mile.

On March 23, around 340 people will run, jog and walk to and from the leisure centre to raise funds.

The event is organised by Marlborough and District Junior Athletics Club, which organised the 2012 Marlborough Mile and raised more than £4,000 for charity.

For those more athletic fundraisers there will be three and six-mile courses.

The event starts at 10am. To enter, visit www.sportrelief.com. Entry is £3 for a child, £6 for an adult and £15 for a family.

Entrance fees will cover the cost of organising the event so all participants are encouraged to raise sponsorship. Parking is in the Marlborough College overspill car park.
