HOTSEAT: Send us your questions for the Council Leader
Updated 5:31pm Tuesday 11th March 2014 in Latest News
SWINDON Council leader David Renard will be in the Hotseat later this month.
Coun Renard, who also represents the Haydon Wick ward, will be answering all your burning questions.
Coun Renard was named as the successor to Coun Rod Bluh almost exactly a year ago.
He has previously worked in the travel and tourism industry and then moved into training and development. He was elected for the Haydon Wick ward in 2002, was given the council’s housing portfolio in 2004, taking on extra responsibilities in adult social care and health integration in 2006, before moving over to children’s services in 2010 and becoming the deputy leader in 2012.
When he became council leader last year, Coun Renard said he would continue to use the social networking site Twitter as a way of engaging with voters.
