An elderly man who was seriously injured in a collision in Pewsham on Saturday is making a slow recovery.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which involved one vehicle and happened at 10.35am at the junction of Canal Road and Fortune Way.
The driver of a yellow Fiat Panda suffered a head injury and was cut out of the car by the fire service.
He was anaesthetised by a Wiltshire Air Ambulance aircrew at the scene and airlifted to the major trauma centre at Frenchay Hospital near Bristol.
Police said he remained in hospital yesterday. A female passenger was not injured.
Witnesses are asked to call PC 122 Kevin Fry at Wiltshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
