A 30-year-old man has suffered back and facial injuries after his car collided with another vehicle on the A4361 near Hackpen Hill and overturned.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene at 1.45pm, and the man was flown by air ambulance to Frenchay Hospital, near Bristol .

The emergency services are still on the scene and police have closed the road.
