THE Adver has teamed up with Wiltshire Police to publich CCTV images of suspects they want to speak to about unsolved crimes around Swindon.
This man distracted his victim by waving a newspaper at her and saying “Newspaper, newspaper.” After the male left, the victim realised that her mobile phone, which had been on the table, had been stolen.
The incident happened on December 19 at approximately 12.30pm in Starbucks in the Brunel Plaza in the town centre.
The man is described as white, of slim build with prominent cheek bones wearing a grey jacket and dark hat.
He spoke with a Spanish or Portuguese accent.
