ALL four Swindon players failed to make it to the German Darts Masters after missing out in qualifying last night.
Dennis Smith made the most progress of the quartet in action in Crawley, beating Mick Todd 6-2 in round two after gaining a first round bye, before falling at the final hurdle to former world finalist Kirk Shepherd.
Mark Cox was also handed a bye in round one but lost his first match 6-5 to Dean Winstanley.
Johnny Haines lost to Smith’s eventual conqueror Shepherd in round one while Chris Aubrey was beaten in his first round game against Steve West.
