A MAN is pictured filling up his car on a petrol station forecourt before driving off without attempting to pay for it.
The crime, referred to as bilking, is the latest on Wiltshire Police’s list of offences they want to solve with the Adver’s help by publishing CCTV images.
This particular incident of bilking – theft of fuel from a filling station – saw a man fill a tank to the value of £64.00 and then leave without making any attempt to pay at around 7.30pm on Tuesday, February 11 at the Asda Walmart petrol station on Thamesdown Drive.
The suspect in the picture is described as male, with short hair and large build, wearing a gilet and a distinctive blue patterned jumper.
The car in question was a silver Skoda Octavia, registration JU06 KTL.
