Melksham hotel goes four star

STAFF at Beechfield House Hotel in Beanacre are celebrating after an AA inspection saw their star-rating improve to four stars.
The hotel, which also has a luxury country house restaurant, was upgraded from three to four stars by inspectors in February, following an extensive year-long refurbishment.
Hotel proprietor Chris Whyte said: “All the staff and management at the hotel have worked incredibly hard to ensure the hotel achieved this accolade.
“It recognises their dedication, commitment to excellence and genuine desire to provide guests with an unforgettable stay.
“We have created elegant bedrooms, classic, stylish bathrooms and modernised facilities finished off to a very high standard with Blu-Ray DVD players, Smart TVs and luxurious bathroom products.”
The inspectors’ report said: “The hotel has many positive features, the quality and design of the hotel is very good.”
