HIGHWORTH Town Juniors T sealed the Under 15 Division Three title with a 3-1 home win against Stratton Youth.

Will Lewis put Highworth in front in the first half, with further goals from Daniel Raymen and Arek Labieniec sealing the win after the break.

Elsewhere in the division, Sevenfields United had to come from behind on three occasions to earn a point at Wanborough Juniors. Sevenfields secured a 3-3 draw thanks to Owen Lewis’s penalty and further strikes from Jordan Hendon and Aaron Marvell.

MAN-of-the-match Max Whitfield scored within the opening two minutes to give Greenmeadow H a flying start in their 3-2 victory over Highworth Town Juniors H.

Greemeadow refused to give up, however, and Josh Sawford scored their winner to keep the side top of the table.

Under 11 Division 2

SWINDON Supermarine M’s title challenge remains on track after they beat Highworth Town Juniors T 5-0 on Sunday.

Tommy Lawrence opened the scoring for Marine when his cross-shot beat the Highworth keeper, before the same player added a second with a tidy finish before the 10-minute mark.

Harvey Hughes linked up well with Kieran Cardwell to put Marine three goals to the good and Max Garrett smashed home the fourth to put the hosts in control at half-time.

Marine added one more goal to their tally after the break, with Lawrence completing his hat-trick.

Under 12 Division 1

TWO first-half goals from Brandon Lewis gave Ferndale Rodbourne Pumas a 2-0 win over a battling Cirencester Town.

Lewis scored his 30th goal of the season after good build up work from Jamie Harrison and Cory Mcastocker to put Ferndale in front and added the second before the break.

Highworth Town Juniors H defeated Swindon Supermarine 3-1. Stand in goalkeeper Jay Lardner produced some good saves throughout the game for Highworth, and goals from Jack Payne, Ethan Parker and Jack Lewis gave them victory.

Under 12 Division 3

SHRIVENHAM & Watchfield White were too strong for Pewsey Vale, as they won 6-2 to take third spot.

Charlie Titcombe opened the scoring for Shrivvy and added a second soon after with a fine volley. Pewsey pulled a goal back before Bradley Hirst ran from inside his own half to score a fine solo effort.

In the second half, Hirst scored his second from the penalty spot and the victory was sealed after Sam Burgess and Ben Pearce both scored again for Shrivenham.

Under 13 Division 3 (9v9)

FERNDALE Rodbourne Colts slipped to a 4-2 defeat at Pewsey Vale, despite an oustanding performance from the visitors’ Harry Johnson.

Johnson scored one of Ferndale’s goals, while Joe Gleed netted the other, but it was not enough for the away side to get anything out of the game.

Swindon Supermarine G won their top-of-the-table clash against Shaw 2-0, thanks to goals from Harry Trueman and Taylor Gara.

Under 13 League Cup

FC Chippenham are League Cup champions for the first time after a thrilling 4-3 victory over Swindon Allstars at Devizes Town.

Rangers took the lead in the 14th minute but it took less than three minutes for Chippenham to level, as Ash Alchin finished off Lewis Morrissey’s cross.

It wasn’t long before Rangers regained their lead and it looked as though the Swindon side would have an advantage at the break, only for Bill Boakes to score a fine solo goal just before the break to equalise for Chippenham.

Having levelled the game for a second time, Chippenham went into the lead for the first time early on in the second period, as Charlie Martin beat the Allstars keeper from a narrow angle.

Luke D’Arcy’s blistering strike put Chippenham out of sight and even Allstars’ stoppage-time consolation couldn’t dampen the celebrations at the final whistle.

MEANWHILE, the North Wilts Mini Soccer Trophy Event took place on Sunday.
