RESIDENTS in Royal Wootton Bassett can find out more about plans to develop Marsh Farm at a consultation this week.
From 2pm to 6pm on Friday and 10am to 6pm on Saturday visitors to the Civic Centre will be able to view architect drawings and ask representatives questions about the proposals for 300 new homes, a Tesco supermarket and a community facility.
Sophie Akokhia, Tesco’s Corporate Affairs Manager, said: “We believe a community store offering a wide food choice will encourage more people to shop locally. This is important since the vast majority of residents are travelling to supermarkets outside of the town on a regular basis.
“We also hope to become one of Royal Wootton Bassett’s biggest employers.”
Nick Hardcastle, Director at Leda Properties, said: “The team is really looking forward to the community event and hearing what residents think.”
