CBBC wildlife star Steve Backshall will be returning to Longleat at Easter, for a series of all-new live animal shows.

The star of the Deadly Pole to Pole TV series will be presenting 10 days of live shows from Longleat Safari and Adventure Park from Saturday April 12 to Monday, April 21.

The informative and interactive shows are being staged up to three times a day in the Wiltshire attraction’s open-air Hunters of the Sky venue.

Entry to the shows is free with a valid Longleat day ticket or annual pass but places for each performance will be limited.

Longleat spokesman Steve Mytton said: “We’re absolutely delighted Steve has agreed to present the live shows here at Longleat.

“He’s an awesome presenter and the live format will allow him to fully interact with the audience. It will also guarantee each show is different, and, working with so many live and unpredictable animals, we’re sure there will be plenty of surprises in store.”

The ‘Deadly Live Easter Shows’ are part of ‘Deadly Adventure’ at Longleat, which transforms areas of the park in the style of the BBC’s Deadly shows. Other attractions include ‘Deadly Safari’ and the award-winning ‘Deadly Challenge’.

Steve Backshall’s ‘Deadly Easter Shows’ are live at Longleat from Saturday, April 12th – Monday, April 21st. Entry to the shows is free with a valid Longleat Day Ticket or Annual Pass. For more information visit www.longleat.co.uk or call 01985 844400.
