Teenage businessman Harry Deeming has won the title of Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the Enterprising Wiltshire Gala Awards.
A student at Abbeyfield School in Chippenham, 16-year-old Harry beat 142 applicants to win the prize money of £1,500 and invaluable advice and support for his budding business, VisaPhotoIndia.
The online company supplies visas for people travelling to India and he has carried out graphic and website design for two Wiltshire businesses, JDH Gardening Services and Rockall and Harding Catering Co.
His talents were first noticed by James Stuart, head of careers at Abbeyfield School. He introduced him to Rachael Sweet from the Wiltshire Business Support Service.
Harry said: “I hope to use the advice and prize money to expand the portfolio of businesses that I currently have – I have a few ideas in the pipeline.”
