TIME is running out to book places on four practical hobby courses, starting in Freshbrook straight after Easter.

Both are being hosted by Freshbrook Community Centre, with the first being Sew Something Simple and the second being called Pottery for Beginners.

The sewing workshop offers a variety of easy hand sewing projects and will run on Tuesday mornings from April 22.

Pottery for beginners gives participants a chance to have a go at designing and making a variety of pots and models from air drying clay.

The course runs on Wednesday mornings, starting on April 23.

Both courses are run by the Workers’ Educational Association or WEA for short. Each course lasts for seven weeks and costs £59 plus £4 for materials.

There will be no course fees for those on certain means-tested benefits.

Early booking in advance is essential. If you are interested or would like more information, contact Jill on 07825 450352.
